The refuge is open from March 12th 2010 to May 09th 2010 for spring ski and from May 29st 2010 to Sept. 26st 2010. Besides this periods, contact the caretaker directly

The Refuge du Fond d'Aussois belongs to the French Alpine Club. It is located at the foot of the Col d'Aussois at an altitude of 2350m and dominates all the plateau of the Fond d'Aussois.
Its construction was completed in spring 2004. A contemporary architecture was selected to integrate it in the landscape and to resist the bad weather. This new building corresponds from now on to the various standards in effect and offers all comfort. A superb panoramic sight, either available from the common room and the bedrooms, allows to benefit fully from the exceptional site.
